here’s an article a year ago taken from wall street journal columnist, elliot brown discussing the opportunity to get green card residence status in the u.s. for investors who are capable of funding projects to perk up the economy.
the reason i blogged about this is that due to the global crisis, it’s not only the united states that’s giving opportunities similar to this ( ask the immigration department of the country you’re interested in or your immigration lawyer as there has always been several avenues in order to get a green card in all countries ) but other european countries that used to be very strict on giving green cards such as spain is now open to this.
now that the philippine economy is doing exceptionally well , immigration statistics show the increase of foreign nationals wanting to enter and work in our country. we now see a migration of overseas foreign workers seeking opportunities in the philippines. on one end, we still have our local citizens seeking greener pastures abroad while on the other hand, foreign citizens and even balikbayans who now see the philippines as the place to be.
coming soon are statistics that will show how the philippines has remarkably progressed in most aspects. let’s all hope and pray that our present government continues to improve in it’s goal for good governance which the world perceives as a vital ingredient for a stable and positive factor for investment and retirement !
