The Professional Regulatory Commission Real Estate Licensure Examination is already scheduled on March 16, 2014.  For information on how to prepare for the examination, please check with the various real estate organizations ( REBAP, PAREB, NREA ) and other accredited review schools giving the Comprehensive Real Estate Seminar (CRES).
Rates ranges from Php 17,000 to Php 20,000 for a 120 hour seminar ( some offer early bird rates ). There are reviews already starting September 27, 2013 and finishing on January 26, 2014.
What should i do if I’m interested to become a real estate broker?
In order to be admitted to the licensure examination for real estate service, a candidate shall, at the time of filing his/her application, establish to the satisfaction of the Board that he/she possesses the following qualifications:
(a) A citizen of the Philippines;
(b) A holder of a relevant bachelor’s degree from a state university or college, or other educational institution duly recognized by the CHED: Provided, that as soon as a course leading to a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Service is implemented by the CHED, the Board shall make this course a requirement for taking the “licensure examination; and
(c) Of good moral character, and must not have been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude at the present time you would need to have taken  120 hours of real estate courses to submit to the PRC.
Republic Act No. 9646, or commonly called the RESA LAW among Philippine Real Estate Professionals including real estate brokers, consultants, and real estate appraisers has changed and uplifted the standards of the Philippine Real Estate industry.
